Mommy Come Back!

So world, I told you earlier that mommy went back to work. What I didn't tell you is that she went to a conference in Kentucky. So, it's been me and daddy and Grammy Jessie. She flew up from Nassau to help daddy out. Anyway, daddy has free reign to do whatever he wants with me since mommy isn't here to stop him. We went walking today and then he took me to the pool. I didn't go in though because daddy couldn't find his swim trunks. I can't wait for mommy to get back. I've had to eat my milk out of bottles. It's okay, but not as good as my mommy. She'll be back on Thursday. Grammy Jessie's fun. After falling asleep on my own last night, she said that I was a good baby. That was until I decided not to take a nap today. Anyway, after getting my shots I found out that I am now 11 pounds 10 oz. and 22 inches long. I have a tiny head though. It's only 14 inches around. The doctor said I'm in the 10th percentile, which means only 10 percent of babies heads are my size and 90 percent are bigger. Daddy said I got my tiny head from mommy. As you can tell in the picture the baseball cap is a little too big. I'm sure I'll fill it in soon enough though. Mommy hurry back. I don't know what daddy has planned for me tomorrow.

That Hurt!

Ouch! What in the world was that. Why do babies need to get stuck with that sharp little pointy thing. Sorry world, I've been on hiatus for the past few weeks learning how to sleep, but I just had to let you know about my day. First of all, mommy leaves me to go back to work and then daddy goes ahead and takes me to this other lady that makes me cry. Daddy said that I had to have my shots and that it was for my own good. Own good? What in the world is that all about. I never heard about pain being for my own good. Anyway, I don't ever want to go back to the doctor again. They were all very nice and friendly before the shots, but I'll never trust them again. No way. Anyway, daddy said that I have to go back in two months to get more shots. Not me. I asked daddy how come he doesn't have to get any shots. He said he already had his. Whatever. I'll have to see it to believe it.

Family Photos

Hey guys,
I've been busy preparing for another photo shoot that was today. I got to take pics with mommy, daddy, Gabriela, Nichy, and Morgan (they are daddy and mommy's really good friends). Nichy and daddy both played basketball at Fayetteville Christian way back in the late 90's. They are soooo old. The funny thing is that even though they both played at Fayetteville Christian, they never played together. You see, Nichy came to Fayetteville Christian from Panama a year after daddy graduated from high school. Daddy was already at John Brown University at the time. Anyway, since they never played together I asked daddy how they became friends, and he said it's an international thing. Guess he'll tell me the story when I get older. Anyway, Gabriela is Nichy's little girl. She's a cutie! Daddy said that he and Nichy already signed a contract for me and Gabriella to get married. She's six weeks older than I am and I haven't decided how I feel about dating an older woman. Anyway, we still had so much fun. That is until Gabriela and I got tired and decided to be fussy. Hey, a baby can only take so much. All that smiling made us hungry and tired, and when a baby's got to eat, a baby's got to eat. Anyway, you can click on the pics down below. Take care and I'll be sharing more soon. Enjoy.

More Family

Hey world! Sorry it's been so long. I've been hanging out with my Uncle Dorrie, Auntie Janice and cousins, Alex and Dyson. They drove 10+ hours from Cincinnati just to see me. I must be special. It was so much fun having them around. Auntie Janice did a great job of helping me fall asleep. Daddy said he wish she was here fulltime so he and mommy could take a break. Uncle Dorrie looks like my daddy. But I think he's a sloppy eater like me because there is milk all over his face. Whenever I eat I get milk all over my face too. But mommy wipes it off with a burp cloth. Alex, 4, and Dyson, 2, were fun too. Alex followed me around everywhere. He really likes having me as a cousin. Dyson didn't care for me much but that's because I think he was too busy keeping an eye on Smoke (they didn't see eye to eye). Dyson did like to chew on my pacifier though. Uncle Dorrie said Dyson wouldn't use them when he was a baby so I guess he's making up for lost time. We did so many things this week including going to the animal safari and the swimming pool.

There are so many pretty colors out there. I never realized how many animals there were out there too. Some of them are really funny looking. Daddy said his favorite was the pot belly pig.

Dyson didn't care much for those animals either. He's not an animal person, but Auntie Janice said that he's going to be a musician. I like music. Maybe me and Dyson will make a cd when we get older. Anyway world that's it for now. Until next time.
